My Man
Makes me laugh out loud.
We are floating around on an endless sea of rolling waves. First I fall in. He pulls me back up with some unpredictable antic. Then he falls in and we laugh him back onto the raft.
Egbert always laughs--so she never falls in--except when she hears the opening chord of "I Love You." Then she is the moon crying.
And I fall in again...

Passing time

Early Autumn. This is the time of ossification.
I am constantly amazed by the passage of time. All of the cycles and cycles within cycles. How equally significant they are--the microcosm and the macrocosm. How each cell's dying and rebirth heralds an entirely new being every single moment now and forever.
Even that which has seemingly ossified is transient.
